“ Not long ago my brother died and I am entirely invaded by the torment of contradictory emotions, pulling me in different directions. My new home in Värmland is a rural place where I feel secluded. As a consequence I drive myself to bridge this emotional distance by fully immersing my body and soul into the wild terrain that surrounds me. Overwhelmed and exhausted by interrogations of loss, my disorientation demands to observe the unfamiliar environment with a fresh and pure sensibility. These visual documents record the omnipresent nature and enhance it with an obsession that conversely, detaches me from it all once again.”
