The text that Frank Horstmann wrote as the introduction to the book serves as an indirect point of reflection. He speaks of the first signs of culture and art form in prehistory. By means of indepth research, he questions the fundamental relationship between the interior and exterior: the method of giving birth and its role in the development of social relations . A puzzle of images in opposition, moments where appearances are reversed, in order to study the interior and exterior space in a modern world that dictates man’s direction.
Printed as 1500 copies comprising of 2 volumes of 120 and 128 pages that present photographs from artists (vol. 1) and their projects with the students (vol. 2), as well as an elaborate study on the origins of art. This publication was printed in Vienna, at the Rema Print press, in 2004. This project was financed by the European Commission.
